People are not always so willing to listen to us. Some, don’t want to listen ever. However, as a Christian and a child of God, we have a Father in heaven who delights for us to come and spend time with Him – His ear is always open. We don’t need an engraved invitation, or a special appointment. Remember He created the Garden of Eden to fellowship with Adam and Eve, to walk and talk with them daily.
Today, He still delights in spending time with His children. Through His Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit, we can come and talk 24/7. His door and His heart are always open to us.
Any time—He is waiting for us to come.
He’s ready to listen.
We wants to send time with us–always.
He bids us come often, and stay awhile. He is interested in whatever concerns us. If we have a heavy heart, or a broken heart, He is the lifter of our head* and the restorer of our heart.**
If we need wisdom or guidance, He is the one to seek. There are many good and experienced experts we could ask. However, within the God who created them, are hidden all treasures of wisdom and knowledge. There is no more all-knowing person ever. The added perk is He has our best interest at heart, and he loves us unconditionally.
God loves for us just to spend time in His beautiful presence, and for us to come with thanksgiving and praise for all He is, and all He does. As we sit, and soak up His glorious presence, love and peace, we can leave filled to overflowing. We are ready to reach out to hurting world, to show them His love through us.
God says to you, “There’s no time like the present – come. I always have a light on in the window—just for you. I’m waiting—my beloved—come.”
