This is the first in my new blog series, The Best is Yet to Come. Each week it will be a different topic. But, it will always show how YOU are special. You are special because you are uniquely created by God, for God. There is no other one like you in the world. Even if you are an identical twin—you are one of kind. God threw away the mold when He made you! He loves you because you are His child. He loves you because He is your Father. He cares about you, and everything in your life. He watches over you. He has a good plan and future ahead for you. He knows you like no other, and He calls you to come away with Him! And with God—the best is always yet to come—be expecting!
There’s No Way!
How many times have we had a situation, a broken relationship, or a project, and our reaction is – there’s no way this can happen! There’s no way this can be fixed! There’s no way I can do this!
We all have been there, done that.
Well, I have good news. It doesn’t matter what seems to be, what is, or what someone else, says or thinks. What matters is God, and His word, and our faith in Him and His word. Throughout His word we see there is always a way with God. When things seemed impossible, which they so many times did, God was watching and waiting for His people to come to Him. He wants us to come to Him for help because you are His special and loved and cared for daughter.
One of the first people in the bible to think they might be stuck in an impossible, there-is-no-way situation, was Abraham. God had promised Abraham that he would be the father of many nations. But, there were just a few major roadblocks—Abraham had no children. Abraham was old. Abraham’s wife, Sarah, was well beyond childbearing years. Now, if there ever was a time to think there’s no way! it was then! But, Abraham had been promised by God. Abraham was God’s friend. He was God’s unique, special, one of a kind son. He knew that with God good was just around the corner.
However, Abraham, though he may have doubted, decided to believe God. He decided not to look on the fact that he had no child, that he was old, that Sarah was unable to have a child as she too, was old. He decided to believe God there was a way. He didn’t know what the way was. He didn’t know when it was going to happen.
But, what Abraham did know was—he was a special child of the faithful God. He knew that God would do what He had promised.
God indeed did do what He promised. He made a way where there was no way! The impossible became the impossible with God. Isaac was born! For with our wonderful God—the best is always yet to come.
What is it you have given up on? What is it that you are tired of waiting for? What is that you are heeding the whisper from the enemy of your soul…there’s no way!
There’s was a woman in the bible, a Shunammite, whom God had promised a son through the prophet Elisha. In the appointed time by God she had that son. One day when he was older, and in the fields with his father, he got sick. The father sent him to his mother, and there he died.
Again, if ever there was a situation where one can say –there’s no way, it was now. Her son was dead. But, she had believed God had given her a son, and she believed in spite of his being dead it wasn’t the end of the story. She turned to God through the prophet Elisha. God honored His promise, and her faith, and God rose her son from the dead. This God who raised this dead child is your God today. He loves and cares for you the same as He did the Shummanite woman (2 Kings 4:8-37)
He can raise your situation from the dead, or can make something even better. All because you are His beloved special daughter. And with God—the best for you is yet to come—always.
Why not give your, there’s no way situation to Him today? He’s waiting. Then be expecting the best for you is on the way!

When you come to know Him by faith in His finished work on the cross, when you believed He died for your sins on the cross, and that He rose again. When you come to Him, and receive the free gift of salvation—you are born again. Your name is written in the book of life. Your sins are forgiven. You become a child of God. Heaven is your eternal home. You are more than unique and special—you are a child of God. And the best is yet to come!

Ah, Fran, those “there’s no way” situations have abounded for me in the past months. Each time, I KNEW there was a way, though not always how I wanted. As I waited and prayed (and had others pray), I got through each one. Of course, there are still a few that I really can’t see a possible way through … my growing health needs and the condition of our house and property being the highest on my priority list. Believe me, I’ve given them to my Jesus because I truly CAN do nothing. And yet, I keep trying … planning a rehab program for after my surgery, setting a deadline for getting back to health, figuring and refiguring how we can afford a roof … a landscaper … a carpenter … an electrician … etc. OR trying to figure out how we could possibly sell and move and where that could even be. I think giving it to God and then trying to figure it out anyway isn’t quite right. LOL! How He must shake His head at me! From this moment, I’m going to stop trying so hard to figure it all out. I’m going to rest and trust Him to tell me if He has something He wants ME to do. Otherwise, He’ll perform His miracles or take us out of the need in another way. Blessings!
Thank you for taking the time to read my blog post and to make comments that we all can identity with. Yes, how human we are. We give it to Him and then try to figure it out! You do have much much on your plate. But not too much for Him to handle. I’ll be praying for you. May He abundantly pour His healing, grace, wisdom and provision on you. Be still and keep walking. Looking forward to hearing good news.?
Good morning, Fran…Your message is a confirmation of what I read the other day…give your problems to God and “leave them there. But too often we take them back and try to fix them ourselves. Lord, help us to remember that you know what is best for us. With you, nothing is impossible. Wishing you a blessed day.
